My photography is a study of different cultures and how we perceive unfamiliar people and their customs. It promotes social change by challenging our preexisting perceptions about the world we live in and our biases toward other cultures. The multicultural lens through which I see my subjects empowers them and the viewers of these photographs.

Ceremonies and rituals fascinate me. My travels have provided me with ample opportunity to delve deep into the traditions and customs of distant places. I have learned that the beauty of different cultures reveals itself when I immerse in the society as an active participant. My photographs invite viewers to reflect on the human condition in all of its exuberance and cacophony, often bringing awareness to social injustices existing in societies.

The streets become my studio as I photograph life unfolding with the excitement of endless possibilities. I capture life in its natural state while discovering the extraordinary within the ordinary. Stories unfold through unique juxtaposition of images that exist within tight compositions. My bold and dynamic photographs are intended to move viewers viscerally and make them reconsider the mundane reality as being somewhat magical and charged with power for change.
